The brief

MIM Fest — one of the UK's biggest inclusive music festivals for children and adults with additional needs — asked us to create a charity film. The goal was simple: capture the joy, energy and community spirit of an event designed to celebrate ability and inclusion.

The story of connection

Rather than documenting performances, our brief was to tell the story of connection: how the festival brings together families, carers, volunteers and performers for a day of music, laughter and shared celebration. We spent the day at The Edge in Wigan, from morning arrivals to the final acts.

Film 01MIM Fest — the charity film

Phase one. A day at The Edge in Wigan, from morning arrivals to the final acts, told through real moments of participation rather than performance highlights.

The result

The film became more than an event recap. Organisers now use it to promote future festivals, engage supporters and evidence impact — a single day of capture that keeps working across funding applications, sponsorship outreach and event promotion.

Film 02MIM Fest — the promotional cut

Phase two. A shorter cut built for funding applications, sponsorship outreach and promoting the next festival.

  • Event highlights
  • Social cut-downs
